Pioneer Eclipse TimberBond is a ready-to-use wood floor bonding agent designed to prepare properly cleaned wood floors for dust-free recoating.
TimberBond chemically prepares the existing finish surface so a new topcoat can properly adhere. It is used as part of the TimberBond wood floor recoating system after TimberClean Deep Scrub and TimberClean cleaning steps, then followed by a compatible TimberGuard finish topcoat.

Preparation Instructions
- Remove all dirt, chewing gum, and debris from the floor.
- Vacuum the floor thoroughly, paying special attention to corners.
- Clean the floor using TimberClean Deep Scrub according to label directions.
- Rinse or clean as directed and remove residue.
- Clean the floor with TimberClean and allow the floor to dry completely before applying TimberBond.
- Complete a test patch in a small, inconspicuous area before treating the full floor.
- Repair deep scratches or gouges before using the TimberBond system.
TimberBond Application Instructions
- Shake TimberBond gently before use.
- Apply a small amount of TimberBond to the floor or directly onto a microfiber mop.
- Spread into a thin, uniform layer using the microfiber mop.
- For large floors, apply TimberBond using a pump-up sprayer.
- Spray a line of TimberBond onto the floor and spread it with the microfiber mop.
- Spray only as far as can be spread in a short amount of time.
- Work around the floor until all areas have been coated.
- Pay special attention to edges, corners, and turns.
- The floor should have a wet appearance, but there should be no puddles.
- Allow TimberBond to dry for 1 hour with good ventilation and air movement.
- If puddles remain and have not dried, wipe the area with a clean, water-dampened rag.
- Apply the topcoat within 6 hours.
Important Use Notes
- Do not use on paste wax finishes.
- Do not use on oil finishes.
- Do not use if the existing finish is worn to the point where bare wood is exposed.
- A test patch is always recommended before full application.
- Missed spots may result in poor adhesion to the topcoat.
- If the 6-hour topcoat window has passed, tack the floor with TimberClean to remove airborne dust, then reapply TimberBond.
- Read all product directions and Safety Data Sheets before use.
Clean-Up & Storage
- Clean application tools with water after use.
- Store tools in an airtight container after cleaning.
- Dispose of unused product according to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Store TimberBond in a climate-controlled environment.
- Keep from freezing.
- Do not store above 100°F / 38°C.
- Keep container sealed when not in use.
