    The 01014A, 01015A, 01016A, and 01017A configurations are supplied without a pad driver. If you plan to use traditional stripping, scrubbing, cleaning, or polishing pads, choose a compatible pad driver for your machine size.

    The Pioneer Eclipse FM Floor Maintainer is a heavy-duty rotary floor machine built for demanding commercial floor-care applications. Its custom 1 HP motor and gearbox provide strong torque for stripping, scrubbing, polishing, and other low-speed floor-maintenance tasks.

    The FM series combines a durable cast aluminum housing, cast iron wheels with ball bearings, and a heavy-duty shear coupling designed for professional commercial use. Choose between the 17-inch FM-1700 and 20-inch FM-2000 in either 120V or 230V.

    What is the difference between the FM-1700 and FM-2000?

    The FM-1700 is a 17-inch floor machine, while the FM-2000 is a 20-inch floor machine. Both operate at 175 RPM.

    Is a pad driver included?

    No. All four configurations on this page are sold without a pad driver.

    Which pad driver should I choose?

    Perma-Grip is a good general-purpose choice. Super-Grip provides stronger pad retention for heavier stripping or scrubbing. The FM-2000 also has a standard 19-inch pad-driver option for routine floor-pad applications.

    Do I need both a pad driver and a floor pad?

    Yes, when using traditional floor pads. The pad driver mounts to the machine and the floor pad attaches to the pad driver.

    Do brushes require a pad driver?

    No. Compatible brushes mount to the machine instead of a pad driver.

    Do I need 56383932 with the 56383930 concrete prep tool?

    No. The 56383930 is the complete concrete prep tool. The 56383932 is a replacement 25-grit blade kit for that tool and is only needed later for blade replacement or if you want spare blades.

    Can the FM be used for stripping?

    Yes. With the appropriate stripping pad or brush, the 175 RPM FM series can be used for commercial floor-finish stripping.

    Can it be used for concrete preparation or mastic removal?
