Neutral pH Germicidal Detergent for Hard, Non-Porous Surfaces
NeutraQuat 256 Germicidal Detergent is a concentrated, neutral pH disinfectant cleaner and deodorant designed for commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, hospitality, and industrial facilities. It disinfects, cleans, and deodorizes hard, non-porous surfaces in one labor-saving step when used according to label directions.
NeutraQuat 256 is a quat-based formula for hard, non-porous non-food contact surfaces such as sealed and finished floors, walls, non-medical metal surfaces, stainless steel, glazed porcelain, plastic, and other compatible hard surfaces. It is economical to use at 1/2 oz per gallon of water and is safe for Pioneer Eclipse floor coatings when correctly diluted and used according to product directions.

Dilution & Contact Time
- General disinfecting: 1:256 / 1/2 oz per gallon of water
- SARS-CoV-2 claim: 2-minute contact time on hard, non-porous non-food contact surfaces
- General listed organisms: 10-minute contact time unless label states otherwise
- Non-food contact sanitizing: 3-minute contact time at 1/2 oz per gallon
- Prepare fresh solution: Daily or when visibly dirty
Directions
- Pre-clean visibly soiled areas before disinfecting.
- Prepare a use solution of 1/2 oz of NeutraQuat 256 per gallon of water.
- Apply to hard, non-porous surfaces with a sponge, brush, cloth, mop, immersion method, auto scrubber, trigger sprayer, mechanical sprayer, or approved spray device according to label directions.
- For spray applications, spray 6 to 8 inches from the surface. Do not breathe spray.
- Treated surfaces must remain visibly wet for the required contact time.
- Allow surfaces to air dry.
- Rinsing of floors is not necessary unless the floor will be waxed or polished.
