TASKI Dry Foam Shampoo & Encapsulation Cleaner is a neutral carpet and upholstery detergent designed for dry foam cleaning, conventional carpet shampooing, and encapsulation cleaning programs.
This versatile formula helps encapsulate and strip soils from carpet fibers, dries to a clear powder, and leaves no tacky residue that can lead to resoiling. It is free of alkalis and soap and is safe for use on most carpets, including wool, when used as directed.

Dilution Instructions
- Dry Foam Cleaning: 10 oz. per gallon of water / 80 mL per L
- Conventional Shampooing: 4 to 10 oz. per gallon of water / 30 to 80 mL per L, depending on soil level
- Encapsulation Cleaning: 8% solution or 1:13 / 100 mL per L
Dry Foam Cleaning Instructions
- Blockade the area to be cleaned. Surrounding non-carpeted areas may become wet and slippery.
- Vacuum carpet thoroughly and remove debris.
- Fill the foam generator with use solution diluted at 10 oz. per gallon of water.
- For light soils, adjust foam to setting 2 on the foam generator.
- Run foam for 10 seconds to allow foam to build up in the brush without spinning.
- Clean carpets using foam.
- Allow carpets to dry for approximately 30 minutes.
- When carpet is completely dry, vacuum to remove crystallized soil.
- For heavier soils, adjust foam to setting 4, clean carpets using foam, and allow 35 to 45 minutes of dry time before vacuuming.
Conventional Shampooing Instructions
- Brush up compressed carpet pile in high-traffic areas.
- Vacuum thoroughly to remove surface soil.
- Dilute 4 to 10 oz. per gallon of water depending on soil level.
- Shampoo by hand with a soft brush along borders and areas inaccessible to carpet machinery.
- Use an appropriate carpet cleaning machine to treat carpet evenly.
- Brush up carpet pile while still moist.
- When carpet is completely dry, vacuum to remove crystallized soil.
Encapsulation Cleaning Instructions
- Vacuum carpet thoroughly and remove debris.
- Dilute product to an 8% solution or 1:13 dilution.
- Put solution into an encapsulation cleaner.
- Operate the machine according to the manufacturer’s recommendation.
- Walk backward at a slow walking speed, pulling the machine over the carpet.
- Overlap slightly with each pass.
- Allow carpet to dry, then vacuum. Vacuuming can be performed at the next scheduled vacuuming.

- Do not soak carpet.
- Cover furniture feet with plastic or aluminum foil before cleaning.
- Read and understand the product label and Safety Data Sheet before use.
- Improper use or dilution may result in surface damage or hazards matching the concentrate.
