Product Description
Heavy-duty performance for demanding jobs. The Karcher HD 4.0/40 G Teton is a professional cold water gas pressure washer engineered for contractors, industrial facilities, and commercial cleaning professionals who need higher flow and pressure for tough tasks. With an impressive output of 4.0 GPM at 4000 PSI, this unit tackles stubborn dirt, grease, and debris while delivering solid cleaning efficiency.

The HD 4.0/40 G Teton’s robust pressure and flow make it well-suited for concrete cleaning, heavy equipment washdowns, fleet maintenance, automotive detailing, and high-soil industrial surfaces. Paired with a durable aluminum frame and modular design, this machine is built to last in tough jobsite environments.
The modular Teton platform allows quick transition between mobile cart and skid-mounted configurations using optional accessories — ideal for contractors, fleet operators, and service companies that require flexible deployment options.
The integrated unloader valve with bypass loop protects the pump by diverting water flow when the trigger gun is not engaged, extending component life and improving reliability under heavy use.

Choose Your Configuration: G vs GB vs Ge vs GeB
The Teton Series uses short model codes to show drive type and whether the engine has electric start. Use the guide below to pick the best setup for your workflow.
What the Letters Mean
- G = Direct Drive (pump is directly coupled to the engine)
- B = Belt Drive (pump is belt-driven for cooler operation and longer runtimes)
- e = Electric Start (battery-equipped for push-button starting)
Configuration Options
- G (Direct Drive, Pull Start) - Best for a lighter, simpler setup for general-duty cleaning and mobile work.
- GB (Belt Drive, Pull Start) - Best for longer run times and heavier-duty use where cooler pump operation is a priority.
- Ge (Direct Drive, Electric Start) - Same direct-drive performance as G, but with electric start convenience for fleets, trailers, and frequent stop-and-go use.
- GeB (Belt Drive, Electric Start) - Premium configuration combining belt-drive cooling benefits with electric start for long days and easier starting.
Quick tip: B does not mean electric. The e is what indicates electric start.

Karcher does not sell a standalone empty skid frame as a retail product. Skid setups are achieved using prebuilt skid systems, trailers, or custom-fabricated platforms.
